G. J. Giddins Studio of Military Art
Military paintings and prints
All the paintings on this site have been produced by G.J. Giddins over the past few years and represent events from the Great War of 1914 - 1918. These pictures feature primarily the British Expeditionary Force, or BEF, and the French army although works depicting the American Expeditionary Force (AEF) are in progress.
We have also included some historic background and facts about each picture. There is also a brief history of British military art which we expand from time to time. So do please keep an eye open for the changes.
While we hope you enjoy your visit to our site we, would sincerely advise visitors to take a day out at one of
the great galleries and museums. The Web cannot really do justice to art, and the real thing is nothing short
of magnificent.
